We received a freight truck shipment of tropical plants early Saturday morning from the Morning Dew Tropical Plant Nursery in Florida. These plants come carefully wrapped, packaged, and boxed, so we had a grand time unveiling them. We are always impressed with their beauty and quality, even after they have traveled nearly 2,000 miles from Florida to the Oklahoma Panhandle. We hope that you can stop by the shop and enjoy their beauty for yourself. See below for a list of the new tropicals that we received!

Not only did we receive those wonderful Florida tropicals this weekend, but we are also stocking up with our greenhouse-grown flowers, herbs, and veggies. The typical recommendation for planting frost-tender plants in our zone is to wait until the first week of May. In Texas County, it's likely that you'll be told by your friends and neighbors to wait until Pioneer Days Weekend. These are great recommendations! A brave soul might dare to put out some tender vegetables in April, or the cautious gardener may wait until the middle of May.
Below is a list of all the vegetables, herbs, and flowers that we had in stock at the end of Saturday, April 8th. We bring in truckloads of new plants almost daily, so consider this list a general guideline and not set in stone.
