Only two more weeks until May, and the pace is picking up for us at Helms. We are now open on Sundays from 1 pm to 5 pm to extend your garden shopping experience, and we are almost entirely stocked with summer vegetables, herbs, and flowers. We invite you to come down and take a relaxing walk through all the flowers... you may even catch a glimpse of a butterfly or two!
Did you know that this coming Saturday, April 22nd, is Earth Day? It is a day that is celebrated worldwide by striving to take action to preserve and care for the planet. There are many activities that you can participate in for Earth Day, including community clean-up days, recycling, conserving water and electricity, reducing waste, and using bio-degradable products. We know that some of these activities seem like a chore or an inconvenience, but you can also plant a tree, install a pollinator garden, and purposely choose native plants and flowers for your garden. Preservation can be beautiful and fun as well as effective!
In honor of Earth Day, we are offering 10% off all of our trees on Saturday, March 22.
